Royal Airways Chooses Navitaire’s Reservation and Revenue Management Systems for Its New Low-Cost Airline

Mumbai, March 14, 2005 -- Royal Airways has selected Navitaire’s Open Skies host reservation system and revenue management system to help operate its new low-cost airline, SpiceJet.
Navitaire, a wholly owned Accenture business, provides technology and business solutions to the airline industry on an outsourced basis. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

SpiceJet, the new low-cost carrier brand of Royal Airways, intends to use the benefits from a young and modern fleet, backed by cutting edge technology, to bring world class air travel at the lowest cost to the growing Indian middle class. It plans to be operational in May with the promise of offering "Flying for everyone."
